Achievements for the year

Looking back its been a great year for my arts practice.

Its been a great start to the year 2024

Firstly I'm thrilled to be invited to show in the Flinders Lane Gallery #exploration emerging artist exhibition. This will be opening in mid July in Melbourne.

And

So excited to be selected as a finalist in this years #Aliceartprize with my piece "Face Up". Opening 22nd March @Araluan

Inspired by an aerial photograph of northeast Alice Springs, hovers with purposeful detachment from the wall. Its shadows allude to silhouettes emerging in white ash, like bones of the old river gum and ironwood after buffle grass fires. The colour nestled in the corner represents a tiny unburnt haven in the photograph, the clinging of hope amid the ceaseless fire cycles tormenting central Australia in late 2023"

This year I have been concentrating on entering awards in an effort to get my work seen beyond central Australian audiences.
